We are pleased to announce the opening of a Senior Counsel position in the Shelbyville, KY office. This position is expected to be used in the Trimble, Oldham, Henry, Shelby and Spencer County areas, with Shelby being the home base. This position received a scholarship in addition to base salary and was part of hospitality and limited service under John Young. Volunteer Law Clerks – Summer and School Year Positions The Legal Aid Society of San Diego (“LASSD”) has a hybrid work environment where most employees are required to work in the office 2 days a week and are allowed to work remotely on other days if their job duties allow. All staff must be available to travel to LASSD offices and points of service throughout San Diego County as required and in accordance with health advisories. Applicants must reside in or near San Diego County prior to their start date or plan to relocate to or near the county prior to their start date, and must be able to travel to the San Diego Physical Legal Aid Society offices or San Diego County service delivery locations. The DSSA requires employees to be up to date on their vaccinations, which include at least one booster. LASSD will consider individual requests for exemption from its COVID-19 vaccination requirement for (1) medical reasons and/or (2) based on a candidate`s or employee`s sincere religious beliefs, practices, or membership. Each applicant or employee must submit a completed leave request form to Human Resources. Upon receipt of a completed application form and all supporting documentation, the SLAD will conduct an interactive discussion with the applicant or employee to determine whether an exemption is appropriate and can be granted without causing undue hardship to the SLSDB or a direct threat to the health or safety of the person making the application or others to the SLSA.
